is the nursery owner and has worked in the childcare sector since 1995. Vicki has a Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree in Children, Schools and Families and is qualified to BTEC standard in nursery nursing and has attended many short courses in child care. She is a qualified first aider and has a Foundation Degree in the Integrated Education and Care of Children and Young People.
Vicki has also been awarded the Early Years Professional Status (EYPS) which is a professional accreditation endorsed by the government for graduate practitioners who have demonstrated a set of professional standards.

Sue is our Nursery Manager, she manages all aspects of the day to day running of the nursery and deals with administration and coordinating policy to ensure the nursery always operates to the high standard required.Sue has over 10 years experience at Scale Hall Nursery and holds an NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education.

Rebecca  is our Deputy Manager and holds a BA hons with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) in Early Childhood Studies. Rebecca has experience with all ages within the foundation stage. Rebecca ensures a rich, stimulating environment is provided for our children with adequate resources and experiences available for each individual stage.
Rebecca is currently on maternity leave.

Josh holds a level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare. Josh is the named ENCO (Equality Named Co-Ordinator) for the setting and works with Sue to carry out the WellComm screening - a speech and language screening tool. Josh currently undertakes the role of deputy manager when Sue isn't available

Zoe  holds the Level 3 Diploma in Early Learning and Childcare and excels at imaginative play, music and drama. She has a strong understanding of each individual child’s personal preferences for activities which helps us with daily planning. Zoe has recently taken on the lead of Eat Better, Start Better, a initiative designed to help children to make healthy choices from early years.


Mel  holds the BTEC Level 3 National Certificate in Children's Play, Learning and Development.

Christy is an unqualified nursery practitioner who is embarking on a course of study to gain her first early years childcare qualification.
Kath is our Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator (SENCO) and works at all four of our nurseries. Kath has a BA (Honours) in Geography, a Post Graduate Certificate of Education and a Post Graduate Diploma as a Teacher in the Deaf. She worked as a special needs advisory and support teacher in North Lancashire for 23 years, in high schools, primary schools, pre-schools and with babies in their homes. During this time she gained experience in working with children with a wide range of special needs and her work included cooperative working with a wide range of professionals, including those in health and social care.
